Our Twitter

Telenovelas - Spanish fans likely will not be able to follow the development of his favorite team directly during the upcoming 2010 World Cup. Coach Vicente del Bosque banned all players to use social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook.

Currently the European champions are 23 players, including striker Fernando Torres and midfielder Xavi and goalkeeper Iker Casillas, doing exercises in Las Rozas, on the outskirts of Madrid, since last Monday.

A spokesman for the Spanish Football Federation in its official page (www.rfef.es) said Del Bosque had told all the players that they should not use any social networking facilities for training and the World Cup in South Africa starting next June 11.
